Scandinavian Masters Terms and Conditions

  1. We are giving you the chance to take part in one of our Qualifying Tournaments where you could win yourself a place in the PartyPoker.com Scandinavian Masters (the "Event"). You agree that by taking part in the Qualifying Tournament you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as the rules of the Qualifying Tournament which can be found by clicking here.
  2. Qualifying Tournament is game of No Limit Texas Hold'em and the Qualifying Tournament tables will be identified in the PartyPoker.com lobby area.
  3. To be eligible to take part in the Qualifying Tournaments you must be:
    1. eighteen (18) years of age or older;
    2. a citizen of Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden;
    3. have downloaded the PartyPoker.com Software to your computer; and
    4. have successfully completed registration online at www.partypoker.com and deposited a minimum of fifty United Stated Dollars ($50) into your real money account ("Player Account")
    ("Eligible Player")
  4. The "Qualifying Tournaments" shall singularly and collectively mean any of the PartyPoker.com Scandinavian Masters $193 ($180 + $13) tournaments and which shall take place at 2.30 hrs ET on Sunday 11th June 2006, Sunday 9th July 2006 and Sunday 6th July 2006.
  5. Entry to the Qualifying Tournaments is strictly limited to 4000 players allocated on a "first come, first served" basis. Seats in the Tournament and Qualifying Tournaments are non-transferable.
  6. For every six thousand, five hundred United States Dollars (US $6,500) in the Qualifying Tournament Prize Pool we will away a Prize Package. If, by way of example only, there are three (3) Prize Packages then the Eligible Players ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd will each win a Prize Package.
  7. The "Prize Package" shall comprise a "buy-in" to the Event worth five thousand United States Dollars (US $5,000), five hundred United States Dollars (US $500) spending money (the "Spending Money"), five hundred United States Dollars (US $500) for hotel expenses and five hundred United States Dollars (US $500) towards the cost of your flight to the Event (the "Travel Expenses").
  8. You may enter the Qualifying Tournament as many times as you wish however you may only win a maximum of one (1) Prize Package and you will not be refunded in full or in part for any additional Prize Packages that you win.
  9. Spending Money will be paid directly into winner's Player Accounts.
  10. Travel Expenses will be paid directly into winner's Player Accounts. For the avoidance of doubt this sum is a contribution towards your costs of travel only and you are responsible for making any travel arrangements yourself and for paying any additional sums as may be required.
  11. Winners of the Prize Package will, provided (i) they agree to wear PartyPoker.com branded clothing for the duration of the Event; and (ii) sign the Release Form have their hotel accommodation paid for them by PartyPoker.com. Please ask for any terms and conditions attached to the hotel accommodation before accepting your Prize Package.
  12. Strictly no third party entries.
  13. In the event that a winner of the Prize Package does not contact PartyPoker.com within the prescribed time period PartyPoker.com reserves the right to offer the applicable prize to the next runner-up.
  14. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim any Prize Package. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements, or who it is discovered is not an Eligible Player will not be able to take up their Prize Package.
  15. Winners must accept the Prize Package as-is. PartyPoker.com reserves the right to replace each Prize Package with one of similar or greater value. Winners may not sell or transfer their Prize Package to any third party and no cash alternative is available.
  16. Winners are responsible for payment of any applicable tax on any Prize Package won. Winners will be responsible for arranging and paying for their transportation to the Event, travel insurance and other incidental expenses.
  17. Neither the employees of PartyPoker.com or its group or other producers or suppliers of the Prize Packages associated with the Qualifying Tournament, their advertising, printing and publicity agencies, and their immediate family members (i.e. any person residing in the household of the aforementioned people) will be eligible to participate in the Qualifying Tournament.
  18. By participating in the Qualifying Tournament, you agree to sign if asked, a release form allow PartyPoker.com and its group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without further compensation (the "Release Form").
  19. PartyPoker.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this promotion, any Qualifying Tournament, violates these Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use PartyPoker.com or acts in a disruptive manner.
  20. We and our group companies may use the information that you provide during the Qualifying Tournament registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partypoker.com.
  21. PartyPoker.com reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate this promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice.
  22. Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by PartyPoker.com's management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.
  23. If the Qualifying Tournament can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond the control of PartyPoker.com, the PartyPoker.com shall incur no liability and no Prize Package will be awarded.
